This Privacy Policy applies to the KXA website and tournament registration activities operated by Konkan Xtreme Anglers (“KXA”), Registration No. E-0001059 (RTN). For Razorpay payment processing, the merchant account is registered as KOKAN EXTREME ANGLERS RATNAGIRI.

KXA uses personal information to process and administer tournament registrations, communicate event updates, coordinate safety and logistics, manage participants, verify payments, prevent duplicate or fraudulent registrations, handle customer support and grievances, maintain results and reports, comply with legal/payment obligations and improve tournament operations.

4. Payments & Razorpay

Online payments may be processed by Razorpay. KXA does not store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, banking passwords or other payment-instrument credentials. Those credentials are handled by the payment processor and relevant financial institutions.

When you choose online payment, information necessary for processing, verification, reconciliation, fraud prevention, transaction tracking, chargebacks/refunds and regulatory compliance may be shared with Razorpay, banks, payment networks and other authorised facility providers.

5. Consent & Sharing

By submitting a tournament registration and, where applicable, proceeding to online payment, you consent to the processing and sharing of the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested registration and payment service. KXA may also share information with authorised tournament staff, operational vendors, technology providers, accommodation/logistics partners where necessary for the event, professional advisers and competent governmental or regulatory authorities where required by law.

KXA will use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information being handled. Access to participant information is intended to be limited to people who require it for tournament, support, payment, reporting, security or compliance purposes.

7. Retention

Operational participant information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for tournament administration, reporting, dispute handling and legitimate organisational purposes. Payment, transaction and registration records may be retained for audit, chargeback, tax, legal and regulatory requirements, including for up to 10 years where such retention is required for payment-related records.

8. Corrections, Access & Deletion Requests

You may contact KXA to request correction of inaccurate personal information or to raise a privacy concern. Deletion requests will be considered subject to information KXA must retain for legal, regulatory, audit, payment, safety, dispute-resolution or legitimate record-keeping purposes.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

The website may link to or use third-party services such as Razorpay. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices. KXA is not responsible for independent third-party websites that you choose to visit.
