1. About KXA
Konkan Xtreme Anglers (“KXA”) is a registered recreational fishing organisation, Registration No. E-0001059 (RTN), with its head office at 384 Bhatey Phansop Road, Bhatye, Ratnagiri 415612, Maharashtra, India. KXA organises recreational and competitive angling events, including surf and boat fishing tournaments. For Razorpay payment processing, the merchant account is registered as KOKAN EXTREME ANGLERS RATNAGIRI.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website, submitting a tournament registration, or making a payment to KXA, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the applicable tournament rules, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Event-specific rules and conditions shown on a registration page form part of these Terms for that event.
3. Tournament Registration
Registration is subject to eligibility requirements, available capacity, registration deadlines and the specific rules published for each tournament. Participants must provide complete and accurate information. KXA may reject, suspend or cancel a registration where information is materially incorrect, eligibility requirements are not met, payment is not successfully completed, or tournament rules are breached.
4. Skill-Based Sporting Competition
KXA tournaments are recreational sport-fishing competitions based on angling skill, compliance with tournament rules, valid catch evidence and the applicable scoring system. Registration fees are participation fees and are not bets, wagers, stakes, lottery entries or gambling consideration.
5. Fees & Online Payment
The applicable tournament registration fee and any event-specific charges will be clearly displayed before payment. Online payments may be processed through Razorpay or another approved payment service provider. A successful payment does not waive participant eligibility or tournament-rule requirements.
KXA does not store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, banking passwords or other payment-instrument credentials. Payment authentication and payment-instrument information are handled by the payment service provider and participating financial institutions.
6. Payment Data & Consent
By choosing to make an online payment, you consent to KXA sharing information reasonably required to process, verify, reconcile and support the transaction with Razorpay, banks, payment networks, service providers and competent authorities where required by law. This may include participant identity/contact information, order or registration details, transaction references and payment status information.
7. Participant Information
Participants may be asked to provide information such as name, mobile/WhatsApp number, address, emergency contact, jersey size, food preference and tournament-specific details. Participants are responsible for keeping this information accurate and for informing KXA of any material correction before the event.
8. Tournament Rules, Catch Registration & Scoring
Participants must follow the event-specific fishing, catch-registration, evidence, scoring, safety, conduct and disqualification rules. Technology, including digital or AI-assisted tools, may be used to support catch registration, scoring workflows, verification and reporting. Final competition decisions remain subject to the published tournament rules and authorised tournament officials.
9. Safety, Weather & Event Changes
Fishing events may be affected by sea state, weather, local authority instructions, safety conditions or other circumstances beyond KXA's reasonable control. KXA may pause or shorten sessions, change schedules, alter operational arrangements, relocate activities, postpone or cancel an event where reasonably required for safety, legal compliance or event operations.
10. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility, including event-specific conditions, is governed by KXA's Cancellation & Refund Policy and any additional cancellation terms displayed on the applicable tournament registration page before payment.
11. Photography, Video & Event Media
KXA events may be photographed or recorded for event documentation, results, reports, archival use, website content and KXA communications. Where a registration form seeks additional media consent, that consent will be presented separately as part of the registration process.
12. Customer Support & Disputes
KXA is responsible for participant registration support, tournament delivery, participant enquiries and customer grievances relating to KXA events. Payment processing by Razorpay does not make Razorpay the organiser, promoter or operator of the tournament.
13. Grievance Redressal
Participants may submit complaints regarding registration, payment, refunds, website use or tournament administration by email or phone using the details on the Contact Us page. KXA will acknowledge and respond to customer grievances within 5 business days of receipt. Complex matters may require additional time for investigation, in which case KXA will provide an update.
14. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available to a participant under applicable law.
